Machine Operator / General Labor

Essential Functions & Responsibilities

• Loading and unloading material (steel and aluminum) via overhead/jib crane or manually.

• Opportunity to operate a variety of machines CNC saw, Press Brake, Laser, or Robot all to engineering specifications. 

• Some grinding and cleaning materials according to engineering specifications and on schedule.

• The job requires heavy lifting (up to 50 lbs.), standing for the full duration of the shift, full range of motion (including but not limited to bending and lifting), and at times holding pieces in place for short durations of time.

• The job requires to measure and inspect the materials they produce for quality and conformance prior to their release to the end-users and correct any inconsistencies.

• The job duties require equipment and work area to be clean and orderly.

• Job requires ability to follow directions and change gears quickly based on the fast paced production schedule and environment.

• Any other duties assigned.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent.

• Must be able to read a tape measure.

• Must be able to follow directions and change gears quickly based on a fast paced production schedule and environment.

• Follow production schedule and complete tasks.

• Familiar with overhead and jib crane use.

• Mechanical ability.
