Description

Hickey Metal Fabrication is seeking responsible individuals for General Laborer position.

Grinding and cleaning materials on schedule and according to engineering specifications.
Perform first article part inspections on all dimensional points from blueprint or drawing.
Heavy lifting up to 50lbs. Standing for the full duration of the shift, full range of motion (including but not limited to bending and lifting), and at times holding pieces in place for short durations of time.
Understand materials and be able to detect defective materials or questionable conditions.
Assure that all work is performed in a safe and professional manner.

High School Diploma or Equivalent.
Must be able to read a tape measure.
Must be able to follow directions and change gears quickly based on a fast paced production schedule and environment.
Follow production schedule and complete tasks.
Familiar with overhead and jib crane use.
Mechanical ability.
