Truck Driver

Description

Hickey Metal Fabrication is seeking a responsible truck driver with a CDL Class A License to transport, load, and unload metal goods.

The driver is responsible for loading and unloading the truck as well as pulling product from the warehouse.
The driver will learn parts and be responsible to transfer parts inside of the production facility to the proper work stations.
Normally drive distances from 20 to 100 miles daily.
Required to make multiple deliveries in one day
Responsible for daily trailer inspections, if applicable.
Responsible for his or her ELD log book.
Driver must keep the truck and trailer clean and in good working order.
The driver will spend approximately 30-40% outside of the truck moving materials and staging the next delivery.
Must follow directions, be able to communicate well with shipping manager and be safe.
Must be customer service focused and represent Hickey Metal Fabrication at each delivery.
Any other duties as assigned.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to be active and requires standing, walking, bending, lifting, pushing, pulling and kneeling.
The employee must frequently lift or move items up to 50 pounds.
The employee will be on their feet for 60% of the time when they are not driving.
The employee will load and unload in all types of weather conditions.
