MIG Welder

Description

Hickey Metal Fabrication is seeking an experienced MIG welder to weld various steel and/or aluminum weldments.

Minimum 1-5 Years of MIG welding experience.
Ability to pass applicable test (AWS D1.1) and applicable non destructive exam.
Have and understanding of shop math, blueprint/drawing reading, welding symbols, general welding knowledge, and general shop practice.
Experience working with MIG and Flux Core.
Must be focused and accurately understand quality assurance requirements and their impact on welding processes and the parts being processed.
Assure that all work is performed in a safe and professional manner.
Able to lift items up to 50lbs.
Self motivated.
Welder certifications recommended.
Overhead/JIB crane and forklift experience recommended.
Ability to follow instructions.
A weld test is required as part of the hiring process (Dress Appropriately, Bring your own welding gloves and hood for the test).
